Play for free

We are always looking to to get players involved in the league and in turn offer numerous ways for you to earn discounts or even play for free. Here are the most common:

• Draft a friend – You are the best judge of who you want to play with and against. For each new player you bring in that gets drafted for 2010/2011, we’ll credit your account $40. There is no cap on the number of referrals. You could play for free for years.
• new Site administrators – Plays for free and other perks – Your responsibilities include: Scorekeeping [most] games when not playing, bring game pucks, be available to take player questions/feedback, and let us know of any issues that arise. We have two openings:
  • Bedford – Wednesday nights
  • Watertown – Either of Monday or Thursday night, your choice
• Scorekeep games – Run the clock, write down goals and penalties. It’s easy and a $25 credit for each game.
• new Be a captain or assistant captain – Captains earn a $150 credit and get to participate in the draft (free food and drink) . Captains must have played 2 seasons in the league. Assistants must have played at least one season.
• Write game recaps or news stories – We try to post a short summary after each contest. If you’ve got a knack for writing, let us know.
• Work at an eval – Help with registration, answer questions, and make the night run smoothly in general. There are various roles.
