Evaluation Skates

Our Winter season starts on January 2, 2012. All new members to the league must participate in a free on-ice evaluation. This provides the captains an opportunity to scout and strategize their draft.  You only need to attend one skate, but you are welcome to attend multiple – space permitting – if you want to get an extra skate in. You may eval at any location for any division.

Evaluation skate #1: Wednesday, 12/7/11 @ 10:00pm Ryan Arena Watertown, MA

Evaluation skate #2: Tuesday, 12/13/11 @ 10:20pm Edge Sports Center Bedford, MA

Evaluation skate #3: Thursday, 12/15/11 @ 9:30pm  Veterans Memorial Rink Somerville, MA

What to expect

Sign in at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to the ice time.

There will be other new skaters there as well as established league players (to give us reference points)

You will get a few minutes of warm up time before the sides even off and break into a scrimmage.

When you get off the ice, captains and admins will be around to answer any questions you have about the league.

Don’t forget to register for the league if you haven’t already done so – only players that have registered and paid are eligible for the draft.

The draft will happen shortly after all evaluations are complete and teams will be posted on the website.
