Chiefs knock off Flames… Bruins over Maple Leafs to remain unbeaten…

The first game of Sundays action saw the Flames taking on the Chiefs and newly acquired goaltender Dan Notartomaso. The Chiefs with a little more jump in their step after swapping goaltenders with the Bruins controlled this game from the drop of the first puck. Taking a 1-0 lead early in the first and pulling out to a 3-0 lead in the third before the Flames finally got a tally on Adam Thibault’s breakaway. In the end this game was all Chiefs as they go on to win 4-1.

In the second game of the night the Maples Leafs battle the Bruins and their new goaltender, Luis Galvao. The Maple Leafs looking to put something together coming off their first win ran into the steamrolling Bruins offense. Despite getting a pair of goals from Andrew Frisch the Maple Leafs didnt have the answer for the offense of the Bruins, who got 3 goals on a late 5 minute major penalty to the Leafs and put this game away, Bruins 8 Maple Leafs 3.
