Maple Leafs notch first win…Bruins continue to roll…
June 14, 2010 by KenThe first game of Sundays action had the Maple Leafs facing the Chiefs. The Maple Leafs took the ice with only 8 skaters against the Chiefs mostly full bench. But it was the Maple Leafs who seemed to have more legs as they came out flying. Their first goal was quickly answered by the Chiefs but 1-1 was as close as this game would be. The Maple Leafs broke the tie with 7 unanswered goals cruising to their first win 9-2 over the Chiefs.

In the second game of the night the Bruins continued their league domination. Scoring early, less than a minute in, and often. Taking a 4-0 lead in the first period they never looked back. The Flames showed some life in the third period with a pair of goals less than a minute apart making the score 9-4, but the Bruins bounced back and put two more on the board, closing this game out 11-4 Bruins.
