Bruins roll over Chiefs… Maple Leafs fall to Flames in OT…

June 7, 2010 by Ken

The Flames and Maple Leafs battled it out in the second game of Sunday night’s matchups. This contest was a tightly skated one, one of the lowest scoring games in GBH history. The two teams entered the third period tied at nothing. Until, at 10:13 of the third period Dave Santiano broke the scoreless tie giving the Maple Leafs a 1-0 lead. And they held the lead until a scrum in front of the Maple Leafs net with 1:04 to play, the puck  found it’s way across the goal line, the Flames tying the score at 1-1 forcing OT. It only took :20 seconds for the Flames to take the win in OT as Kyle Stevenson took the puck up the ice off the face off and made  a slick move to bury the OT game winner.

Maple Leafs Stat Highlights

Dave Santiano – 1 goal

Tim Driscoll – 25 saves

Flames Stat Highlights

Cory Amarante – 1 goal

Kyle Stevenson – 1 goal

Bill Notartomaso – 27 saves

  1. You guys should do drunken recaps. We can feed Nate and Ken booze for a couple hours then have them use Dragon speach recognition to write these things. Instant classics

  2. Adam,
It is bad enough that you send all of us emails with your bad spelling, but posting one on the site? It is spelled “speech!” Maybe it is the school system in your home country…

  3. I have shamed an entire nation today.

In my defense, I probably spell better then at least 50% of your bastard children around the world.

  4. You spell about as well as you play hockey…nice faceplant into the boards when you tried to check Chris from behind the other night!
