3rd place Green knocks off 2nd place Maroon to advance to the league’s first Championship Final. The Green team came out firing early, taking a 3-0 lead in the first period and never looking back. Bill Notartomaso was outstanding between the pipes for Green, stopping 33 of 35 shots on goal. Nate Roy scored the first goal for Green and Alex Garceau tallied the next 3 for Green with Corey Amarante capping the game with his goal just under 4 minutes left to play. Dan O’Conner and Leon Walts put goals on the board for Maroon in the second period but it just wasn’t enough as Green held on for the 5-2 victory. Championship final set for 1/4 where Green will take on Royal for the Fall Title.
